The 7090 series XLamp from Cree Inc. is a high-power solid-state LED that was designed as an alternative to the incandescent bulb and other conventional sources in architectural lighting and general illumination applications. It uses a surface-mount package that operates at 1 W with typical operating current of 350 mA and measures 7 × 9 mm. It comes in blue, green and white versions, based on proprietary XB-900 chips as the light engine, and also in red.
