MATERIALS PROCESSING For materials processing applications with CO2 lasers, Raylase AG has launched the Axialscan -30/BO. The company says that the focused spot size of the beam-optimized system has been reduced by one-third, and that production of waste material and gases also is reduced. Models include the BO 100, covering field sizes from 100 × 100 to 500 × 500 mm, the BO 300 for 300 × 300 to 750 × 750 mm, and the BO 600 for 600 × 600 to 1250 × 1250 mm.
