PicoQuant GmbH has announced its MicroTime 200 confocal microscope, with new data analysis software. The instrument contains optics and electronics for recording all aspects of the fluorescence dynamics of microscopic samples, including single molecules, and produces submicron spatial and picosecond time resolution. The software integrates all algorithms and methods for the analysis of fluorescence dynamics and is based on a work space concept, in which the time-tagged time-resolved file is the origin of each measurement. All derived data are maintained in the work spaces. The software also can be used separately from the microscope.
