VACUUM CHAMBERS Kurt J. Lesker Co.'s line of vacuum chambers includes O-ring-sealed box designs that reach pressures of about 1027 t. The stainless steel chambers are suitable for applications that require temporary shielding, outgassing of large components, batch evaporation or sputter coating, and frequent pumpdowns. Spherical designs, which reach pressures of about 10210 t, are employed for high- or ultrahigh-vacuum applications. The company also custom-designs chambers.
