Model SPR-1 and SPR-2 spectroradiometers from Luzchem Research Inc. are used for a wide range of applications, including measurement of sunlight, photobiology research, drug photostability testing, environmental dosimetry and curing. The devices are based on a 2048-element diode array detector, an integrating acquisition element with fiber optic connectivity, and easy-to-use LabView-based software, including such functions as spectral manipulation and integration, and timed acquisition. The NIST-traceable instruments measure from 235 to 850 nm. A built-in verification lamp enables a rapid check of the wavelength calibration. Computer control is through a USB port.
