THERMAL IMAGING Available from Armstrong Optical Ltd., the IR928 thermal imaging cameras employ the company's uncooled microbolometer array technology. Designed to facilitate thermal analysis in industrial applications such as plant inspection and circuit tracing, the handheld devices offer temperature measurement from 225 to 1000 °C, and they use a high-quality aspheric lens with motorized focus and digital zoom. With IP54-rated enclosures, the cameras can operate in harsh environments. They are equipped with a FireWire interface and a built-in memory that stores up to 1000 images.
