The model 400-X series unveiled by Interspectrum OU is a cost-effective and compact FTIR module designed for use in nonlaboratory environments. A broadband infrared source and KBr optics enable mid-IR spectroscopy at wavelengths of up to 25 µm, with spectral resolution from 16 to 0.5 cm21. Output is a 38-mm-diameter collimated infrared beam. The module measures 160 × 260 × 330 mm and integrates with a variety of sample interfaces in virtually any configuration. It can be coupled with any sampling system with its own IR detector to create a compact dedicated FTIR analyzer.
