The Ultima II available from ViewBits is a 1.3-megapixel CMOS color camera with a C-mount lens and a USB 2.0 port to interface to any desktop or laptop PC. Direct Show, TWAIN and DLL support are standard. The industrial machine vision camera is rugged and lightweight and comes supplied with a tripod adapter. The low-noise, plug-and-play camera has 1280 × 1024 active pixels, operates at 27.5 fps at 40 MHz and does not require an external power supply. It produces low noise, performs real-time video acquisition and features both global and rolling shutters.
