Tunable zero-order wave plates from Alphalas GmbH can be adjusted for wavelengths in the 150- to 7000-nm and 1- to 19-µm ranges. The bandwidth varies from 100 to 300 nm, depending on the wavelength. Available in λ/4 or λ/2 phase retarder versions, the wave plates are suitable for applications with femtosecond lasers and optical parametric oscillators. They also can be used for general polarization measurement and control, laser research, spectroscopy and nonlinear optics.
