DIODE LASER MODULE The JOLD-100-CPXF-4P released by Jenoptik Laserdiode GmbH is a passively cooled fiber-coupled diode laser module based on an integrated technology. It delivers 100 W in CW mode from a single fiber that has a core diameter of 0.4 mm and an NA of 0.22. The module is suitable for pumping solid-state lasers or direct materials processing, such as quasi-simultaneous welding. It is available at 915-, 940- and 978-nm wavelengths, with more to follow. Typical spectral bandwidth is 5 nm FWHM, with a maximum of 6 nm. Expected lifetime is >20,000 h at constant current.
