Suitable for mass spectrometry, electron beam, electrostatic printing, photomultiplier tubes or nuclear instrumentation, the MPS series high-voltage module from Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corp. achieves high efficiency and ripple ratings of 0.001% Vp-p. Available in 1, 3, 5 and 10 kV at a maximum output of 10 W, the module is offered with a VCC option for voltage and current mode control. It provides stable operation at 0.02% drift over 8 h, with a temperature coefficient of <25 ppm/°C. Measuring 1.18 × 2.75 × 5.12 in., it incorporates the company's surface-mount technology and is controlled through an end-user 15-pin Sub-D interface. The module can be customized for OEM requirements intended for large-scale system applications.
