For materials processing, medical and pumping applications, the Limo400-F600-DL fiber-coupled diode laser from Lissotschenko Mikrooptik GmbH (Limo) provides 400 W from a fiber with a 600-µm core. Versions for 808, 915, 940 and 980 nm are available. The device uses a tap-water cooling system and achieves an optical coupling efficiency of >70%. The 340 × 265 × 155-mm package can be integrated into compact systems. The device may be purchased separately or in an assembly that includes an industrial PC, software, a power supply and a cooling unit.
