MULTILINE DPSS LASER The Cobolt Dual Calypso announced by Cobolt AB offers an alternative to argon-ion lasers by producing both 491- and 532-nm wavelengths in a single beam. The laser produces 20 mW of CW output power at rms noise of <0.3% (peak-to-peak noise <3%), with low power consumption and with beam characteristics similar to argon-ion lasers. Two controller versions are available for the DPSS laser: one for OEM system integration and a CDRH controller for stand-alone laboratory use for such applications as laser-induced fluorescence.
