The sensitivity of dispersive Raman technology and the wavelength accuracy of Fourier transform Raman spectroscopy are combined in the Senterra microscope offered by Bruker Optics Inc. The confocal system accommodates multiple excitation wavelengths with high spatial resolution. A proprietary feature automatically rejects fluorescence from samples to produce quality Raman spectra, and video images of a sample are saved with the spectra for analysis. The patented Sure_Cal technology automatically calibrates the system to 0.1 cm21.
