OPTICAL TABLES Kinetic Systems Inc.'s 5100H series vibration-damping optical tables are available in a variety of configurations and in sizes with widths of up to 6 ft, lengths of up to 20 ft and thicknesses of up to 3 ft. Fabricated employing a proprietary epoxy formulation, the tables feature a stiff, damped surface with a natural frequency of 270 Hz, a core shear modulus of 225,000 psi and an overall flatness of ±0.005 in. Compatible with Class 100 cleanrooms (with optional Class 10 compatibility), the tables incorporate a 3/16-in.-thick ferromagnetic stainless steel top skin and carbon steel bottom skin, and a proprietary steel honeycomb core design that protects against spills. Options include alternative core and skin materials, special shapes, cutouts and notches, and various accessories.
