RADIOMETERS/PHOTOMETERS Optronic Laboratories Inc. has unveiled the OL 730 series radiometers/photometers as lower-cost alternatives to stand-alone systems. The OL 730C has an internal preamplifier and achieves sensitivity of 1 × 10−14 A. The OL 730CV, which is controlled by the user's PC, provides a response time of 0.1 s and a range of 2 × 10−10 to 2 × 10−3 A. The OL 730D, which adds digital signal processing, can take measurements over all or part of the UV/VIS/IR spectrum and features a photon counter for measuring at extremely low light levels.
