FRAME GRABBER The Phoenix Dig24CL in PC/104-Plus format, which has been introduced by Active Silicon Ltd., is a Camera Link digital frame grabber that supports camera tap formats such as line interlaced and offset, and pixel interlaced and offset. Region-of-interest and subsampling controls increase speed by storing only required data. The look-up table supports gamma correction, dynamic range cropping and binary thresholding in real time. DataMapper maps and packs the acquired data prior to transfer across the PCI bus, reducing the load on the host processor. Features include 4-bit optoisolated I/O, two 2-bit differential input ports and two 8-bit TTL I/O ports.
