These converters meet IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) Standards and are 10/100 Base-TX and 100 Base-FX with MDI/MDI-X auto negotiation. 
Converters have a full set of LED indicators and 10/100 Mb/s and full/half duplex automatically configured in twisted pair port. Multimedia converters have a range of 2 km and single-mode converters have a range of 20 km.
