Imaging Solutions Group
The Imaging Solutions Group (ISG) has released two line-scan cameras with FireWire connectivity, eliminating the need for frame grabbers and other hardware. Optimized for spectroscopy applications, the LW-ELIS-1024a-1394 features 1024 × 1-pixel linear arrays and operates at rates of up to 10,000 lines per second at 14-bit resolution. The LW-SLIS-2048a-1394 has 2048 × 1-pixel arrays, operating at up to 6 MHz at 12-bit resolution. Both cameras are suitable for machine vision, edge detection, bar-code encoding and reading, and metrology.
