Increased Spectral RangeBARRINGTON, N.J., Aug. 29 -- Edmund Optics' two new hyperspectral spectrometers come in a palm-sized package and feature increased spectral range with a minimal decrease in resolution. The enclosed gratings do not rotate and are factory set for a specific wavelength range. A 5-W Tungsten source can be used for the VIS-NIR model (350-1050 nm), or a 5-W Deuterium/3-W Tungsten combo can economically cover the range of the UV-VIS model (200-720 nm). A 10-mm cuvette holder enables measurement of transmission, absorption or fluorescence and has three SMA905 connections to input and detect light. Software and a USB cable are included with each spectrometer.
