EdgeWave GmbH has introduced the PP series diode-pumped Innoslab lasers for use in materials processing applications. The air-cooled instruments are compact, making them easy to integrate into machines. They deliver average power of up to 30 W, a maximum pulse rate of up to 1 MW and repetition rates of up to 50 kHz. The lasers' pulse duration ranges from 4 to 15 ns. Applications include plasma generation, microdrilling, separating, structuring, cleaning, polishing and marking, as well as rapid prototyping and interior engraving of transparent materials. The lasers can be used on metal, glass, plastic and ceramics.
