SMART CAMERA The Lynx IPX-11M5-L from Imperx Inc. is a 4000 × 2672-pixel-resolution smart camera that draws 6 W from a 10- to 15-VDC supply. Onboard intelligence adds horizontal windowing, automated iris to prevent saturation in extreme-light situations, 10-s integration time for low-light conditions, and upgradable camera software and firmware. The camera can dynamically zoom from low resolution at video frame rate (200 lines at 30 fps) to ultrahigh resolution of 2672 lines at 5 fps. It operates from −5 to 50 °C and offers a 60-dB dynamic range, a gain range from 6 to 41 dB and gain steps of 0.053 dB per step.
