The CLS-211 Camera Link simulator from Vivid Engineering generates video test patterns for development, test, integration and field service applications that require base, full or medium Camera Link configurations. The fully programmable device mimics most cameras, with video clock rates as high as 85 MHz. It provides area- and line-scan formats, image sizes of up to 64 k × 64 k, and box, line, horizontal, vertical and diagonal wedge test patterns, as well as a “roll” feature that adds pattern motion. The CLS-211 includes an external power supply and an RS-232 cable for connecting to a host PC, workstation or terminal serial port.
