Dynamic Structures and Materials (DSM) LLC has introduced the CZSA-1000 flexure-guided nanopositioning Z-stage for scanning, metrology, inspection and similar applications. The 25 × 62.5 × 125-mm stage features 1 mm of closed-loop servo motion control with minimal roll and tilt, a stiff kinematics design that enables stable dynamic responsiveness and position control, and RS-232 communication and LabView drivers. Combined with the company’s servo piezo controllers, the stage helps provide full control of a system’s motion profile, ensuring fast acceleration and deceleration, and constant velocity scans.
