SPECTRAL LIGHT-MEASUREMENT SYSTEMS Labsphere Inc. has introduced a series of spectral light-measurement systems for high-speed LED testing. Within milliseconds, the SLMS LEDs’ software provides research-grade test results, including total spectral flux, luminous flux, chromaticity, color rendering index and dominant wavelength. The system performs NIST-traceable calibrations from 350 to 850 nm, with optional calibrations for spectral intensity or irradiance from 250 to 850 nm. Included are a high-speed USB interface and Windows XP Pro/98-compatible software. The systems are available in two versions: The medium SLMS LED series is for testing individual LEDs, LED-sourced systems and miniature lamps, and the large series is for testing LED-sourced systems, large LED display backlighting, and automotive, architectural and solid-state lighting.
