Technosoft SA has released the TML_LIB_S7 and the TML_LIB_CJ1 motion-control libraries with embedded proprietary drive and motor intelligence on a programmable logic controller environment. They provide high-level functions and function blocks, developed in accordance with the PLCopen standard, and can be integrated on any development platform that is IEC 61136-compliant. Application developers can communicate with a drive/motor via any of its supported channels, send motion commands, check/modify parameters, read inputs and set outputs. Communication can be done either with a CPU or via a CANbus/RS-232 module.
