Available from Docter Optics Inc. are small- to large-volume quantities of precision single-sided rod and blank-molded aspheric glass lenses as well as DOC3D three-dimensional, double-sided blank-molded types from crown (nd 1.5230) and borosilicate (nd 1.4719) glass materials in diameters from 2 to 165 mm. The aspheric first surface is molded, and the plano or spherical second surface is either ground and polished or molded. Single- and multilayer antireflection, dichroic and infrared coatings also are available. OEM applications include laser diode collimating and focusing, theatrical lighting, microscopic measurement and remote sensing.
