A fiber-coupled quasi-continuous-wave diode laser module has been launched by Dilas Diodenlaser GmbH. Versions with 500 and 1000 W of peak power out of an 800-µm 0.22-NA SMA fiber are available in wavelengths of 808, 940 and 980 nm. The stacks inside can be conduction-cooled, and the module is available with either industrial water-cooling or with thermoelectric/industrial water-cooling. For higher duty cycles up to 20%, the laser also can be equipped with stacks that require direct cooling with deionized water.
