LTB_LasertechnikBerlin_Remo.jpgThe Remote-LIBS System from Lasertechnik Berlin GmbH provides control of manufacturing processes up to a few meters away from a sample. The device uses laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy to generate plasmas on a sample and to detect the resulting spectra. Operating with either a CCD or an ICCD camera, it delivers spatial resolution of less than 1 mm in a wavelength range of 175 to 750 nm, and it has a spectral resolution of up to 35,000 in the VUV range and of up to 15,000 in the UV to NIR range. The system is suitable for the production and characterization of steel, aluminum, glass, ceramic and concrete, and for geological, environmental and security applications.
