Nanomotion Inc. has introduced the R150 rotary stage for applications that require precise motion control and automation. The 150-mm-diameter ceramic servo device comes with either two or four HR2 motors with 40-mm ceramic rings. Using a direct-drive mechanism, it provides continuous travel with standard encoder resolutions of 3 to 19 μrad, a maximum velocity of 120 rpm and a maximum force of 0.65 newton meter. The stage is suitable for semiconductor, fiber optic, electronics, biomedical, automotive and manufacturing operations.
