Toptica_iBeam.jpgNew versions of the iPulse and iBeam diode laser systems from Toptica Photonics AG deliver 18 mW of output power at 375 nm. Other standard wavelengths available are 405, 445, 473, 640, 660 and 675 nm. Lifetime has been extended by 50%, and a diode exchange can be planned in advance to reduce system downtime to less than 30 minutes. The systems have the same diffraction-limited beam quality and <0.5% power stability of the previous models. Because of the patented thermostable design, ambient temperature drifts have virtually no impact on efficiency. Features include full computer control via an RS-232 interface, a circular beam and a 156 × 56 × 66-mm footprint.
