Advanced Laser Diode Systems GmbH has unveiled a multichannel picosecond laser diode system for OEM and scientific markets. The PiL155DFB-SM provides <50-ps pulses at a repetition rate of 1 MHz and peak powers of up to 20 mW from single-mode fibers. It delivers up to 16 channels within the C-band from 1527.22 to 1564.88 nm with 0.8-nm channel spacing according to the ITU grid standard. Based on the company’s PiLas series, the system includes laser diodes, control electronics and FC-FC panel mounts. An optional system provides, typically, 25-ps pulses and peak power of more than 20 mW.
