Norland Products Inc. has released version 3.0 of its NCC software for its Connect-Chek 6000 automated interferometer for fiber optic connector end face analysis. The device quickly and accurately measures the key 3-D end face parameters of radius of curvature, offset of polish, and fiber height for all PC and APC fiber optic connectors. Software enhancements include features for saving, viewing and generating reports of the results. Reports can be viewed in pdf and html format. The software loads into any computer with a USB interface and provides instant feedback for quality control and assurance.
