Newport Corp. has added two series of cylindrical lenses to its ValuMax Optics line. Available in sizes from 6.35 x 12.7 mm to 50.8 x 50.8 mm with focal lengths ranging from -6.35 to +250 mm, these planoconvex and planoconcave lenses are designed for OEM applications. Their surface quality is better than 60-40 scratch-dig, and a broadband MgF2 antireflection coating for the visible spectrum is available.
