Measuring 2.2 × 2.8 × 1.1 mm, the device can be used with personal digital assistants, cell phones and such automotive instruments as displays and headlight switches. The sensor exhibits maximum sensitivity at 560 nm, operates with a supply voltage of 2.3 to 5 V and responds to a brightness range of 3 to 30,000 lx.
