Fisba Optik AG has announced the μPhase FS 10 M vertical interferometry system with a motorized Z-axis for precise positioning of test samples. The Z-axis of the stage can be moved manually via either a joystick or control software. The software performs curvature-of-radius measurements of spherical samples, and the system measures toric surfaces, such as scanner and contact lenses, when used with μShape software and the Torus Analysis add-on module. It provides surface and transmission measurements of samples with outside diameters between 0.2 and 10 mm, and the measuring range can be expanded to 50 mm with additional objectives that are available as options.
