Toptica Photonics_dfTune.jpgToptica Photonics AG announces the dfTune OEM laser module, based on near-infrared distributed feedback diode technology. It offers a diffraction-limited beam profile, a linewidth of <5 MHz and continuous wavelength tuning up to 4 nm. It measures 58 × 44 × 30 mm and has an RS-232 interface that enables direct access to power and wavelength settings as well as to readout of operation hours and temperature. Altering the temperature enables mode-hop-free frequency tuning up to 1400 GHz. Intensity stability is 0.1% per hour, and typical lifetime is 10,000 h. Available from 760 to 2800 nm, it produces output power of up to 150 mW at selected wavelengths.
