Xenon_13579.jpgLaunched by Xenon Corp., the CoolCureXL RC-801 modular and mercury-free pulsed UV light curing system is suitable for heat-sensitive, batch- or continuous-process applications. It uses pulsed UV light to provide instant on/off control, fast cycle times, deep penetration and cool operation. The pulsed light provides 1000 W/cm2 of peak pulse power to penetrate and cure 100-μm-thick transparent protective layers on Blu-ray disks with a uniform UV dose from 10% to 100%. The system produces pulses of <300 μs and comprises the lamp housing, a separate controller and a power supply.
