Cobolt_LaseranddriverCD.gifCobolt AB has introduced a controller for its Calypso family of CW solid-state lasers, which includes compact systems with single-line emission at 491 nm or dual-line emission at 491 and 532 nm. Designed for OEM integration, the controller is fitted in a metal housing that measures 178 × 67 × 25 mm and that has mounting holes to facilitate handling and installation. The device is equipped with standard connectors for the 5-V, 8-A power supply and control signals. It enables remote operation and monitoring of the laser systems via a digital RS-232 or an analog interface. The lasers are suitable for bioanalytical applications.
