The Red Tide spectrometer manufactured by Ocean Optics Inc. offers spectral response from 350 to 1000 nm, an order-sorting filter to eliminate second-order effects, and integration times of 3 ms. Its modular design can be configured with various of the company’s optical bench accessories, light sources and sampling optics for use in absorbance, reflection and emission applications. Measuring 89.1 × 63.3 mm, it has a USB interface for connection to a PC. It operates on SpectraSuite spectroscopy software that runs on Macintosh, Linux and Windows.
