SVSVistek_GigE.gifThe SVCam-GigE cameras announced by SVS-Vistek GmbH come in resolutions from VGA, XVGA, 1, 2, 4 up to 11 megapixels. Based on the international GigE-Vision standard, the cameras measure 51 × 55 × 65 mm and transfer image data over standard Gigabit-Ethernet components at distances of up to 100 m. They use progressive-scan CCD sensors from Sony and Kodak. Available in monochrome and color versions, they produce jitter-free images and have a hardware trigger input and a strobe output. A high-precision time stamp is automatically assigned to each image. The cameras, suitable for machine vision applications, are supplied with software, a network packet filter, a camera driver and a software development kit.
