The white-light coatings feature 98% reflectivity across the visible spectrum, low reflectivity in the infrared range and transmission of equal to or less than 20% in the 800- to 2500-nm waveband. The mirrors withstand light levels above 200 W/cm2 and temperatures above 400 °C. Designed for fold mirror and light tunnel applications, the coatings focus the light beam to enable the reduction of optic and unit size. They can be applied to transparent or opaque materials and curved surfaces.
