Olympus-Life_ES44_frei.gifThe compact STM6 series microscopes from Olympus Life and Materials Science Europa GmbH are designed to measure and inspect industrial parts and electrical components. The devices offer motorized focusing for Z-axis measurement, a rigid body and stage for stability over long periods, cold-light illumination to minimize thermal effects on measuring precision, an optical linear scale for submicron resolution, and Universal Infinity System 2 optics for edge detection and microscopic inspection. Featuring an integrated readout counter, the series includes one motorized three-axis model with 0.1-μm readout, two manual three-axis models with 0.1- and 0.5-μm readout, and one manual two-axis model with 0.5-μm readout. The range includes the STM6-LM for fast inspection of large samples. A selection of stages, illumination systems and add-on units is offered.
