The PriorPCI2 high-speed stepper motor controller manufactured by Prior Scientific Inc. measures 175 × 106 mm and features standard six-axis control for X-Y, focus, three filter wheels, control for three shutters and a 16-bit analog (0 to 10 V) output for piezo control. It has four TTL inputs/outputs for macro control of all axes and an updated dynamic link library. Encoder inputs provide high-precision stage and focus movements, microstepping resolution down to 0.01 μm for X-Y and 0.002 μm for focus movements, compatibility with the company’s line of microscope automation products and a software development kit that includes several Active X components for easier programming. The PCI2 card is CE- and RoHS-compliant.
