The compact DSL228 is optimized for 1/4-in.-format CMOS sensors with multiple megapixel resolution. The lens has a 75° horizontal and a 120° diagonal field of view. Its aperture of f/2.0 is designed to perform in low-light conditions. The lens, constructed of aluminum with glass elements, can withstand temperature extremes.
