NeoptixFiberOpticSensors_Tx.jpgThe Tx model fiber optic panel feedthrough temperature probe from Neoptix Fiber Optic Sensors Inc. enables temperature tracking through the wall of an enclosure or a tank. It monitors temperature in a batch process manufacturing vessel and detects the exterior temperature through the wall of a NEMA enclosure in a transformer hot-spot monitoring system. The stand-alone device has a metric hex cap bolt and is made of stainless steel. The threaded section has a standard M8-1.25-mm pitch. Sensor tube length is 1 cm, with up to 25 cm available. The probe can be mounted on panels ranging from 1 to 4 mm thick. Operating temperature is from –80 to 250 °C.
