Alacron is offering an autonomous imaging subsystem for PCI bus systems. The FG-A-PCI combines a color frame grabber with an accelerated display controller on a single card, allowing images to be acquired and displayed simultaneously without impacting the host PCI bus. The frame grabber section of the board can capture standard RS-170, NTSC, PAL or S-Video signals. The display section provides SVGA output at up to 1280 x 1024-pixel resolution at 72 Hz.
