The Flexpoint laser diode module series from Laser Components GmbH has a wide range of housing types to suit applications where space is restricted. The smallest version is 20 mm long x 10 mm in diameter. Commonly available lasers in the 635- to 905-nm range can be used, and a range of powers is available with circular and elliptical beam profiles. In addition, line generators with fan angles from 6 to 100° can be supplied. Applications include component positioning and drilling machine alignment.
