Holo Or Ltd. has expanded its Multi Spot series elements with a 1 × 7 (48 point) pattern generator for 1064-nm lasers. The optics have a 1-in. diameter and are 3 mm thick. They are made of pure fused silica, and a high-power laser antireflection coating is available as an option. Separation angle between the beams is 30-mrad pitch, and the theoretical diffraction efficiency for the seven points is ∼77%. The beams can be transformed to spots by a single focusing lens. The same optics can be designed for other wavelengths and at custom separation angles.
