Philips_WhiteLuxeonRebel.jpgPhilips Lumileds Lighting Co. has unveiled its Luxeon Rebel power LEDs that operate between 350 and 1000 mA. Warm-, neutral- and cool-white color temperatures and standard InGaN and AlInGaP colors are available. The cool-white model exceeds 70 lm/W at 350 mA. The LEDs measure 3 × 4.5 mm — 75% smaller than other surface-mount power LEDs, according to the company. The devices’ ceramic-based packaging withstands high heat, with a maximum junction temperature of 150 °C. Typical correlated color temperatures of the warm-, neutral- and cool-white LEDs are 3000, 4100 and 6500 K, respectively.
